• Property and installation details — site address, roof and electrical details, energy usage, photos of the property and switchboard, NMI (National Meter Identifier) and network/distributor details.
• Transaction details — quotes, contracts, payment and (where relevant) finance information you provide.
• Scheme and compliance information — details needed to create or assign STCs and to register your system, including with the Clean Energy Regulator and your distribution network.
• Website and device data — IP address, browser type and usage data collected via cookies and analytics.
• Communications — records of your enquiries, calls, emails and any complaints.

We generally do not collect sensitive information. If a concession or rebate eligibility check requires it, we collect it only with your consent and for that purpose.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you (forms, our “Book a Callback” request, phone, email and on-site visits), from our website, and sometimes from third parties such as referral partners, finance providers or your energy network — where you have authorised this or it is reasonably necessary to deliver our services.

3. Why we collect and use it

• to prepare quotes and to design, supply and install your system;
• to arrange grid connection and meter changes with your distribution network;
• to create, assign or trade STCs and process rebates or incentives on your behalf;
• to register your installation as required by law (for example with the Clean Energy Regulator and network registers);
• to process payments and, where applicable, facilitate finance;
• to provide warranty service, support and maintenance;
• to respond to enquiries and complaints; and
• to send service messages and, where you have opted in, marketing communications.

4. Who we disclose it to

• our installers, electricians and authorised contractors, to deliver your system;
• manufacturers, to process product warranty claims;
• your electricity distribution network (Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy or Essential Energy) and your energy retailer, for connection, metering and export approval;
• the Clean Energy Regulator and relevant registers/portals, as required for STCs, system registration and compliance;
• finance providers, where you choose to finance your system;
• payment processors and IT/cloud service providers that support our business; and
• government bodies, regulators or courts, where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Marketing and your choices

Where you have consented, we may contact you about products, offers and updates by email, SMS or phone. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us. We action opt-outs promptly.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (for example cloud or IT platforms) may store data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
